Ann brought two of her favourites to the mobile studio at the IDCTA Summer Kickoff at Silverwood Farm in Camp Lake, Wisconsin. Her KWPN-NA gelding Fyher and her tiny poodle Daphne each had a portrait session of their own, on separate days of the show.
Meet Fyher
Fyher shows at Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I in USDF and FEI competition, and he has the presence to match. Upper-level horses tend to bring something special to the studio, and Fyher had it in spades.
His braided mane follows the strong arch of his neck, and his deep bay coat glowed with red and copper tones under the studio lights. A navy ear bonnet with a touch of sparkle finished the look, and it suited him perfectly against the white background. Like his owner, he was an absolute sweetheart.

A Session Just for Daphne
Ann loves Daphne so much that she knew Daphne needed portraits of her own, and Daphne was every bit as much of a star on her day in the studio.
She is tiny, impossibly cute and was so well behaved from start to finish. Little dogs are not always keen to sit still for the camera, but Daphne settled onto the cognac leather ottoman as if it had been made for her, and she looked absolutely perfect there.
Her fluffy white coat and soft brown ears stand out beautifully against the white background, and the warm leather adds just the right touch of colour. Seeing her portraits beside Fyher’s shows just how much Ann loves her animals, big and small.

Ann, thank you for sharing both of your sweethearts with me. It was such a treat to spend time in the studio with each of them.
