Some horses you meet once, and others you watch grow up. I have known Jameson NHF since he was two years old, so I was especially excited to get him into the mobile studio at the 2024 IDCTA Summer Kickoff at Silverwood Farm in Camp Lake, Wisconsin.
A Norwegian Hill Farm Homebred
Jameson NHF, known around the barn as Oliver, is a 2014 KWPN gelding bred and owned by DeAnna Greulich of Norwegian Hill Farm in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. DeAnna has bred some exceptional Dutch warmbloods over the years, and Oliver is no exception. She also hosts the KWPN-NA keuring at Norwegian Hill Farm each year.
He is by UB40 out of Emerald Angel, by Consul. UB40 was a chestnut KWPN stallion who stood at Iron Spring Farm, was awarded the Keur predicate in 2018 and sired the international Grand Prix stallion Apache. Oliver has his sire’s colouring, with a liver chestnut coat that glowed copper and gold under the studio lights.
Show Day Polish
Standing 17.2 hands, Oliver has a presence as big as his stature. Ridden and loved by DeAnna, he has a long record in USDF-recognised dressage, and he stepped into the mobile studio fully turned out for the ring, with neat button braids and a crystal browband. Those are exactly the details a white background shows off best.

With nothing behind him to compete for attention, every line of his neck, every braid and every highlight in his coat takes centre stage, from the full picture of him down to the expression in his eye.
Thank you, DeAnna, for bringing Oliver into the studio. I love this boy so much.
White background portraits are offered at select horse shows each season. See where the mobile studio is headed next.
