Sinola is what I lovingly call a Barbie horse. With her long eyelashes, big brown eyes, and perfect button braids, she looked every bit the part in the mobile white background studio at the IDCTA Summer Kickoff at Silverwood Farm in Camp Lake, Wisconsin.
A Familiar Face from Norwegian Hill Farm
Registered as SinolaTOF, Sinola is a Haflinger mare owned by Christine and ridden by Tina, who also owns Holli. Sinola boards at Norwegian Hill Farm, where I board my own horses, so I get to spend plenty of time with this sweet mare. Photographing a horse I know this well is always a treat.

Every Inch a Barbie Horse
Haflingers are known for their golden chestnut coats and flaxen manes, and against the white background, Sinola’s colouring glows. Her neat white button braids, her soft eye framed by those lashes, and her sweet expression all come through beautifully, and she looked picture perfect from every angle.
Christine and Tina, thank you for bringing Sinola into the studio. She is every bit as lovely in front of the camera as she is at the barn.
